Art, Yoga, and Magic: Cuba Immersion

Join Mikhayla Anderson for an extraordinary 10 day deep dive of Cuban spiritual healing, creative expression, and a tailored yoga practice with 5 days in Santiago de Cuba and 5 days in Havana. Traverse through Cuban art, music, dance, architecture, food, healing arts, spirituality and collective transformation with seasoned guide and Yogi Arianna Hall from the Cuba Nola Arts Collective.

We will be staying in private bed and breakfasts in both cities (with great amenities). We'll fly into Santiago de Cuba from Miami, then fly from Santiago de Cuba to Havana and then back from Havana to Miami at the end. We'll be working with a variety of amazing people in both cities with artist studio visits, private concerts, ceremonies, hikes, and guided tours of off the beaten path historic and sacred sites. And Mikhayla will be putting together a daily yoga and meditation practice for us.

What is the cost?

The trip cost is $2,925. Register before October 1st for the Early Bird discount of $2,725. This includes lodging in both cities, the flight from Santiago to Havana, ground transportation, tour guides and daily activites (concerts, ceremonies, guided hikes, artist studio visits, rehearsals, etc), all breakfasts and at least 4 group lunches or dinners. We don't include all meals so that everyone has time to explore different places and break off from the group. There will be some free time, but this is an exchange trip with lots of amazing adventures every day. We will be listening to music, meeting artists, attending ceremonies, meeting healers, learning about Cuban history and culture every day. We're not working with regular tour guides - but with urban planners, musicians, musicologists, artists, tradition bearers, historians and art critics that will share their take on Cuban art, culture and society. The trip is supporting all of the artists, practitioners, scholars and guides that will work with us. It's also supporting Mikhayla's work and the CubaNOLA Arts Collective's mission to further creative connections between Cuba and New Orleans. Part of the trip cost will be a tax-deductible donation.

The price does not cover airfare to Cuba. We will make recommendations on which flights to catch. It also doesn't cover the Cuban entry visa (usually purchased with your flight), or personal expenses (laundry, phone calls, internet, beverages, non-program related activities, etc. And it doesn't cover any (optional) end -of-tour gratuities for our team of Cuban guides and drivers. There will be a small discount if you're sharing a room/bed with someone else. We've worked hard to keep the price considerably less than many other yoga trips and art trips to Cuba. The trip is a great value since you'll get to see different parts of the island. We will take day trips outside of Santiago de Cuba and Havana, to get an even greater appreciation for everything that Cuba has to offer.

How does new US regulations with Cuba affect this trip?

The trip is legal for U.S. citizens to travel to Cuba under the the current U.S. Treasury Department's category of "Support for the Cuban People". This category still exists and allows for U.S. citizens to travel to Cuba to support the Cuban by staying in privately owned bed and breakfasts, and supporting privately owned businesses and independent community ventures like the artists, healers, dancers, musicians, restauranteurs, intellectuals and educators that we'll be connecting with.

Our trip also fits under the current U.S. Treasury Department's category for "Humanitarian" travel to Cuba since we will also be connecting to the work of several artists and practitioners on environmental restoration projects. These environmental restoration projects are particularly moving since these artists and practitioners are combining scientific environmental work with their artistic and spiritual work.

You can go to and go to the Cuba page for further details on the current categories of legal travel for U.S. citizens.

Join us for an adventure of a lifetime!
